Stonewall's Battlefield Cross

The long awaited Battlefield Cross was installed on Saturday May 17 in Stonewall, MS
It was a somber event that honored all of our local heroes that answered the call to serve their country, fought bravely but did not make it home. This statue always be a reminder of our towns sacrifice for this great country.

Fallen Heroes Memorial Statue

OUR MISSION:
To honor all of our local heroes, we are raising money to erect a statue in their honor.
The monument will be located at the Recreation Center in Stonewall between the baseball field and highway. The monument will depict the all-too-familiar rifle/boots and helment cast in bronze, resting on a granite base. The monument will represent those soldiers who have fallen from WWII to pressent. A bronze plaque in honor of each soldier killed in action, will be placed on the monument.
We ask everyone to help in anyway possible. No amount is too small to honor our local young men who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.
